Feature Request: Commodity Purchases For Job Categories

It would be beneficial for commodity purchases to be able to be applied to Job Categories and not just the highest level job. We use the Job Categories to define certain phases as well as whether certain items are billed to the customer or not.

Agreed, that's a good idea/improvement.
@mledinski, can you provide more context as to what commodity lines are being used for?

We use it for NRE charges such as tooling, setup fees, etc. as they are not considered inventory, but are part of the part/job cost that may get billed to the customer.

This would be a great assist to our company as well for proper cost tracking. I am glad to see this is getting some traction.
