    Sales Order Team Questions;
    When editing a sales order and accepting the changes is there a way to have the system keep the original date sales order date instead of updating the date to the new accepted date?

    Can a feature like this be added?

      We are currently in the process of planning and updating a host of things with the Sales application, and one of them is better due date control & visibility!
      We'll likely need to dig into your specific use case and question, but it's a current scope of work. 🙂

          Chiming in to agree that this is necessary, unrelated to due date control. For sales performance purposes, the acceptance date is used as the date the sale is made. If small changes need to be made for a sales order (i.e. adjusting shipping terms), you have to issue & accept, even if the order has already been accepted. This is all well and good until you have an order that was sold in December 2025 that's now showing up on January 2026's sales report. This can lead to sales orders being double counted in sales reports. Even if the order value changes, I'd rather that value show up in December than in January.
