QOL: BOM Form Index/Item Number

It would be good to have a column for “Index” that would be indented (ex. 1, 2, 2.1, 2.2, 3, etc.) for easier viewing subassemblies vs parts. Index is available in the relations export as shown below.

Hello Kilen, we are on 15.7.1 here but I don't see the item/index number column in this BOM. I'm I missing something?

Hey Eric,

The specific improvement added in 15.7.1, is that the "index" column may now be added to the form for the BOM. Let me know if you'd like me to show you how to do that.

Ok, I see it now. Index can be added as a column for the BOM Form in Master Settings > Forms > Custom Forms > Component > Bill of Materials. Thanks!
